    Been working on these in my spare time (limited), and now I finally have some pics from my iphone.
    They are almost done, and hopefully I'll have pics of them on the truck by next week.

    Nice!

    Is that an HID retrofit?

    If so, what parts did you use?

    Did you buy one of those cheap aftermarket projector kits? (Please say no)

    I used a set of xenon projectors from a mercedes benz E350.

    I've seen only a few tacomas do this including the one that delmarva posted, but I didn't like the idea of keeping the chrome reflector in the back ground, so I made the shroud, and modified two bezels from the same head light that I took the projectors from.

    Used the same projector in my srt4 when I retro'd those lights 3 years ago. Still holding strong too.

    Cool! Definitely a fan of it being flush and black...dunno about the silver bowl on that x-runner though...kinda weird looking.

    thanks for the comments guys. Had the shop full this week so I couldn't get them on. Hopefully next week because then I go away for school for the week of the 9th, so I won't be around to do it then... Still gotta wire up the xenons.

    I really think that is one of the factors why people stay away from projector retrofit. That and price and fear of taking their headlights apart.
