I was shopping around today for OME lift kit locally and getting prices on BFG AT 275/75/17's.

My wife told me she wishes I would stop putting so much money in my small truck.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I had to bite my lip as the kids were in the back.

    *snort cackle*

As a married woman, I would probably approach the subject with her again, without kids near, and explain why you love building up your truck so much, how much you enjoy it, and then maybe ask what you can do to make her feel more comfortable with your purchases. Perhaps a 1% of gross income per month truck budget? Also spending some quality time with her (QU-AL-ITY, and sans truck) may make her feel a little more relaxed about the truck.

I drop equally un-productive comments to my husband sometimes, and it's usually about an issue that should be discussed but I'm either too passive-aggressive to state it directly, or haven't even identified exactly what is that is bugging me yet. I'd suggest talking this one out since it does involve money, family, etc. Even if the conversation boils down to she had a rough day and lashed out at the first thing, it's still good to clarify how everyone REALLY feels.

    /Dear Angie

    What's she drive?

My buddies wife drives a Dodge Megacab with a Hemi and 37s. He can occasionally be heard saying things like "I wish you'd stop wasting so much gas in your huge truck."

Just an idea if in fact your wife drives something bigger than your itsy bitsy truck.:D

Hey Robert, in light of your situation and the fact you live in Canada, I would recommend checking ARB Canada (Ouipack) to save you some money. Great company, great costumer service and great prices. Check them out.

Haha no I am not getting paid. Up here in Canada it is very hard to get a good deal on parts and such. I had an awesome experience with them as well as some other fellow Canucks so thought I would help him out with another option. He can check them out and come up with his own decision. They were real good to me thats all and a few others.

Sometimes it is a little frustrating. We have two kids good jobs and I dont drink or smoke.

She did not complain when I spent over 1000.00 dollars ona Pandora bracelet and charms for her. Oh and in the last 4 months new stove, fridge, dishwasher, King size bed, dresser and night tables.

She is worried about this stuff going on credit but all I did was get some of my Vacation time paide out and I have 2000.00 to spend.
