I already have a welder I just need a tube bender. But for the exhaust I would need a tube kinker (pipe bender). My stock pipe has a few bends I think I could work with after a little grinding, so I think a die for just one exhaust would be a waste

Sweet I want my truck to sound like one of those big ass ones. Tuba or something?

Edit: Also what you are saying is if I wind it all around and add little air powered actuators I can make music?

At a meet we had in here in New Mexico. I don't think he's posted a video yet but there is a video of meet, you can't hear our trucks cuz it's dubbed over with a song, maybe cuz the camera didn't have audio recording  It was the first meet I've been to since joining TW, it was pretty sweet! http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/south-west/32579-new-mexico-owners-bs-thread-746.html

It says in there that tips have very little to do with sound. Point proven.

All it is talking about is redirecting the sound.

Dude did you even read the entire article?? I barely skimmed the article and it seems to me that tips do in fact change the sound of exhaust. Point proven through the quotes i added from the article you posted up.

"Tip size actually has very little to do with sound, unless you go to a much larger or smaller diameter. Smaller diameter pipe will restrict the engine, slowing the exhaust stream and decreasing engine noise, and a larger diameter tip will make the engine louder only if the original tip was a restriction." "Whether exhaust tips alone can change the sound of a car depends largely on the components used. Going from a 1.5-inch diameter tip to a 4-inch tip can make the exhaust note deeper but far less so than simply buying a new muffler""Turned-out tips will be much louder from the sides, and inward turned tips will move the sound dispersion further back so that it's only really loud when one is standing next to the rear bumper. If you desire an increase or decrease in sound, try rotating the tips so that they're at a 45-degree angle to the ground."
