I kept my 31x10.5s at like 38-35. Seemed to work great. Been keeping my 33x12.5s at like 30-32

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I run my 33x12.5 DuraTracks at 32psi to get full contact to the pavement but im running the 10" wide rim that fits the tire better. I would run a chalk test to see what you should set them at.

Yeh the 8" wide rim really makes the outer 1/2" of the tire useless unless your running low psi

The smaller the tire the more air you should have.

Nothing big today just a flashlight holder to keep it out of the door. Made from a lil rubber gasket material and a 3/4" conduit bracket right in the same mounting hole for the center console

So if you can wiggle your driveshaft you need to replace the carrier bearing?

Yeah that is the problem I am having running my 12.5" duratracs on 15x8 wheels. Even at 20 psi, each outer 3/4" of each tire doesn't make contact with the ground. I have them at 32 psi now. I'm thinking of buying/trading someone for some cheap 15x10 steelies.

Obviously for offroad use you would want as much traction as possible.

But for road usage on a DD on 33x12.5 on 10" rims. Would you want to keep the psi high (above 30psi) for better MPG's even if the outside does not show even ware?

31's on stock 15" rims I run aproximately 32psi in the front and 26psi in the rear (unloaded) after doing the chalk method.

Not necessarily. Sure, your gas milage will be great, but you'll have to replace your tires a lot sooner down the road. Not only will you wear excessivley down the middle of the tire, but the high pressure doesn't allow the tire to "wrap" or "conform" around small rocks or gravel you may encounter on a normal road thus causing even more wear.

Do want to pay the money at the gas pump or the tire shop??? It'll be quite a bit more expensive at the tire shop, I garuntee it.

Our definition of wiggle might be different. Measure how much play is in the driveshaft. If it feels pretty sloppy and the rubber looks aged then it might be done. It will wear out really fast after you lift a truck if you dont drop the carrier bearing.

Exactly! I forgot about that. If it makes a screech when you go into reverse then its done. I remember mine doing that before i changed it. annoying as hell

I did the "center console cup holder thingies" mod over the weekend. Not really a mod in my case because I bought all the rubber tab "thingies" from the dealer. I only had one tab left. All others ripped off. Everything came out to under $6 and the quality is much better than what was there. Removing 6 screws is all it took to remove the center console and replacing the rubber cup holder thingies. SWEET!

Alright well i haven't checked to see how much play my driveline has but it isn't screeching yet. My guess now is that it may be worn but not completely worn out but when i get the chance i'll see how much play it has.
