Overhead console SWAP??

Hi I have a 07 SR5 w/out compass and temp...only garage opener and sunglassses holder Can i buy one w/compass and switch them out or not? If so does any buddy know where to buy the console w/compass? Thanks

 

You would have to get a sensor for the compas and tepertature guage. It sits below the roof panel above the guage. Id try a wrecker. Just make sure the wirring would work and the unit would fit

It's easy if you have an 2009 or newer, not so easy on your 2007.
I did it on my 2011, very easy, plug and play.
I'm told by others that the 2005-2009 may or may not have the wiring there already. Start by pulling down your stock console to see if the plug is there for the display. If it is there, it is fairly easy. BTW, I have a temp display for sale. You would need the plastic piece the display mounts in to then install in the place of your garage door opener in your console.
