i believe he means the horizontal cutoff line of your projector.. make sure the line left to right is even with the ground... meaning left shouldnt be angled higher than the right and vice versa.

^ I got the fx-R's and are jb welded. I was just going to buy a pair of fx-r's(just projector) and redo another set of lights but before I buy I want to see if you guys recommend to try and cut between the projector and bowl to adjust and realign... Yes it's out of alignment.

Bahaha! Here you go... the driver side won't adjust any lower, the passenger side won't adjust any higher and I've got that damn glare up top! everything was perfect before I tighten the bolts and jb welded.

Sorry about your alignment, last time I did a set morimotos which were supereasy. Now I am doing a set of FX-R's. I have done some research and figure Iwill bolt them up and tighten the securing projector bolts then JB weld as thefinal step and/or do a couple of JB weld tacks like I did on my blazers till Iget the horizontal right. Not sure how I am going to tackle the retro for sureyet. But I am for sure going to take it slow being this is my first set ofFX-R's... Any thoughts or advice...

    Thank you.

This is my 3rd set of FX-R's. The firs two came out perfect because i took my TIME. I got a bit Cocky with this set and decided to drink witch was a horrible idea. Just dont rush.

Cool, thanks for the link. I was going to enjoy some whiskey and coke and do my retro but I might just hold back on the drinking and do the retro sober....

oh... my... gosh... been working on these for 8 hours now and finally have the projectors tacked in place with some quickset jb weld. holy crap what a pain haha!

it'll all be worth it in the end, but there were many moments where i really wanted to give up lol (of course i couldn't because this is my daily driver...)

i have a newfound respect for anyone who is competent at this!

Hey guy.. need some advice. Ive cracked open the headlights before, and when I did I cleaned the inside of the lense. It's had this residue or something ever since. Not a big deal as I've dealt with it for like 6 months now.. lol. But figured since Im takin them apart again, ill try and clean them again. What should I use? I used windex last time and it left streaks and residue. Mayhem distilled water? Just a microfiber cloth?

    Thanks
