Has anyone ever tried to install a back window that goes down like the tundra/4runner? Or at least install a motor that opens and closes the existing slide window of the tacoma. I really think it would be awesome.

Any ideas, links, shops, photos? It was one of the best features ever when I test drove a new 4runner. And I know the Dodge Ram's sliding rear window is automatic. I'm not sure about the Ford. So, I know it's not a crazy idea.

saawweeeeeeet! Thanks guys. I typed it in the search and I didn't see anything. Just checked out Ben's window slide mod and that's exactly what I was looking for. I might have to find someone smarter than me to install it, but it's def on my idea list.

i really wanted a complete roll down back window (tundra/4runner). I thought maybe a sunroof/moonroof company might be able to do something factory looking. but i'm sure it would be $$$$$

I'm going to make a how-to install video soon for my kits, so it will walk you through the procedure step-by-step.

Having said that, I would LOVE to have a roll down window.
