It was just a general observation, aimed at nobody in particular.

We talked about this briefly while we were camping, about the talkers vs. doers.

um the rear isnt gonna be done yet. i intend on doing a new atlas leaf pack, and idk about the shocks yet. prolly kings just to match but idk ill ask the shop what they think. but the rear is gonna be far less expensive, so as soon as they give me an idea of what i need it shouldnt take long to save for it. and yea as long as my stuff is done im down for a mini run. gotta break it in :p

yea i did. um its being done through ORU, their cool, seem knowledgeable, and fairly priced. works for me. and im gonna have them set the coils at whatever performs best. im sure your right though, most suspension, be it on a truck, or a dirtbike(which i better understand), doesnt work its best at full preload.

that looks more like too much compression from an improperly set up bump stop or lack of bump stop..

Avid front light bar, Avid bolt on sliders, Avid rear bumper protector, T-Rex grill & bumper insert. Still lots to do though.
So, yesterday I ripped in to the truck to check for any damage. All that I sustained was the front light bar & the rear bumper protector came a little loose but I am assuming that was already getting a bit loose before the meet. Oh yeah, also blew the dust out of the air filter.

Again, I want to thank everyone for making it a great experience. My son is bragging about all of it & thinks his old man rocks because of all the kind words about the little 5 lugger.

I am actually looking at a 96 Taco 5 lug, 2 wheel, V6 that I might pick up & do a complete Baja set up on. Until then I will be doing a spacer lift & a leaf on the 2012 with wheels & tires untill I can afford the long travel on it. But since it is my daily driver, I want to get a proper set up on something that is not a depended upon vehicle that I can say F It & show what I can really do without hesitation.
