265/75/16 with mud flaps

    Just put 265/75/16 duratracs on 2010 regular cab 4x4. I was wondering if I put the original mud flaps back on the front while they rub the tires? Also if they do rub, has anyone shortened the front flaps to stop the rubbing? Thanks for any input

    If you go off road, or ever get a lot of heavy mud on the flaps... THEY WILL BREAK OFF... Might as well remove the stupid things... The first generation flaps were great, made of rubber.. worked well... The second gen. are hard plastic and a joke!

    A lot of members trim a few inches off the bottoms of the flaps and seem to have good luck with them not getting ripped off

    I have no issues with my 265/75/16 duratracs rubbing

    My front mud flaps rubbed on my 265/75/16 Duratracs anytime I'd have the wheel turned full turn either way. Took them off the day after getting the Duratracs put on.

    King 2.5" extended travel coilovers with compression adjusters, Camburg UCA's, King 2.5" rear shocks, TRD 1st gen CAI.
    Before I lifted, I had 265/75/16 BFG A/T's and M/T's, I had no rubbing whatsoever. Then, I lifted and went 285's and rubbed a lot. I'm back to 265's, now.
