285s shipped here from treadwright were 580. that's my trail set and the only thing they'll be used for. there are lots of pics on the interwebz of folks wheeling in treadwrights. bigger following in the heeper community.
    yes they were.

see...if this hick like mastercrafts, they cant be all bad :D

I would put the mastercrafts up against the bfg km1s all day long

Theyre good tires, quiet, fairly easy to balance for an MT, and cheaper than other big names out there...IIRC mastercraft is made by cooper or something like that

I also have the courser MT's and love them...the tread wear has surprised me the most...I have about 40k on them and probably 40% tread left, id buy them again in a bigger size of course

So I just bought a set of TRD shocks and poly spacer lift 2.5" with diff drop from another member on here. My question is I don't plan on putting everything on until I get my new rubber but what would be the best for the rear so the truck sets level after I get it all installed. I was thinking of getting a AAL or just a rear block lift but wanted some input from you guys that know ALOT more about lifting than I do. Here is the link to what I got from him http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacoma-marketplace/202130-wts-wtt-wtb-free.html
Thanks fellas ahead of time! And btw I'm not wanting to put nothing huge tire size on just something a little meater :D

the shocks you bought should be the same ones you already have on your truck. I would measure to see how much of a difference you have from front to rear, subtract that from the 2.5" lift you are installing on the front, then find the closest lift to that you can. AAL would be better than a block.

I picked those up b/c my stock ones have over a 100k miles on them and figured maybe these would be a little better than my stock black ones? Any choice on what AAL would be better than the others or are all pretty much the same...Honestly I know nothing about lifts leveling it's one thing in all my vehicles I've never messed with. I've read the sticky in the suspension section and got alot of good info though.

unless someone changed them and you are a true TRD, your truck should have come stock w/ the yellow bilsteins. They are better than the black ones that were only on the non-TRDs. just make sure that you get an AAL w/ the anti-friction pads.

BTW, how many total leafs do you have? maybe someone had the TSB done and they replaced the TRD shocks w/ the black ones on a fuck up?
