I just did nokya yellow bulbs in my fogs. I like them, but I kinda want the yellow fog look all the time. Do you guys think it will look good on a 2012 MGM? (pics if you got them)

Anybody have them on for a while? I'm curious about the long term effects to the fog lights themselves, like melting or discoloration.

Also, on the Lamin-x site it only says the yellow covers will fit 05-11. Anyone know if they will work on a 2012?

Here is a pic with the lights on just for reference:

    EDIT******************

Write up on lamin-x fog film is on page 2. I ended up getting film for 2011 for my 2012, even though the fogs are different.

I pulled the trigger on them. I read that if you heat them up a bit they are much easier to apply. The area i live is very mild, so i wonder if that will effect the aging at all.

Ive had 3 total foglamps on other vehicle get busted by rocks so im hoping these help with that.

Too much for TW to know
They will not fit right. The 12s have smaller fogs than the 5-11s:eek:

Theyre easy to cut to fit. But I tell you this, you're better buying the yellow model glass paint from an art store and doing it that way. I bought the laminex the other day from a member on here, f'ing PITA to do. :frusty: I used a industrial heat gun to try to shape it, it just doesn't work. The material is too thick to shape and the adhesive isn't so, adhesive.

    go with the paint.

I have yellow bulbs. You cant see them when off. I will try and do a small write up. If they end up sucking, it was only 16.00.

I just popped in a yellow bulb and left the lens alone for the "stock" look. But if you want the yellows lens look you'll have to play with the lens like a lot of my buddies do. Most do the art paint route and seems to work well.

Yes. Its the one I used. I don't know how you can see yours when off. Mine has a little tiny bit of yellow- but not the look I want.

    Is the spray tint removable?

Cool man thanks for doing the footwork to did that up. + rep for you.

I am debating whether or not I should do this and just resell the lamin-x.

Part of the reason for the lamin-x was for rock protection as well.
