I would recommend masking off the reverse light especially if your rear window is tinted. it makes it a little difficult to see of you tint the reverse lights.

True. I have some aux lights under my rear bumper, wired into the reverse lights though so I'll be good either way.

I can't forget my third brake light though!

Yeah I have seem some where its just nightshade and nothing else. Looks like its just sanded down or something. Then with it buffed and everything it looks super shiny and glassy. Looks way better.

So, I'll grab two cans just in case! I also have a buffer, polish, and compounds if we need it... only other things I will have to grab will be some sand paper, and clear... I think i want to go for the shinny look! :D

Use 400 grit to scuff the plastic anything less will leave deep scratches that will take a while to clean up and VHt will not over it up.

Hey gents... sounds like you're gonna be doing some cool stuff. Not sure what all I wanna do to mine yet, but I'd love to come out and see what you guys have going in if that's cool? I'll lend a hand where I can, or else I'd be glad to bribe myself in with some beers. ;)

I really hope to make it to the meet. I would like to try to work out the details of getting a power rear sliding window to work in an Access Cab. I can also bring some power window kits for Double Cabs, if anyone might be interested in getting one. I could offer assistance with installation.

This all hinges on whether or not my company will have me away on work travel on the 17th.

It would be sweet if you could make it. I'm willing to bet you could get several window kits sold that day ;) As well as we can get the access cab worked out!

Let me be the first in line to pick one up at the meet :). Now that I'm finally getting through some of my mod backlog. If that doesn't work out with your schedule, we can talk later about a time that works for you.
