I have been in contact with Kurt at Cruise Outfitters. He is an awesome guy and has decided to hook us up with a GB.

This is the original email I got from Kurt. Let me know what yall think.

As we discussed I think the best option would be to offer a flat 'sale price' regardless of the number of buyers. We will handle payment and shipping directly with each customer, if some want to ship them together we can absolutely save them a bunch on the shipping. We can offer the sale of a one week period starting and ending dates we decide. If we end up with more than 6 of the SS135MOD's we are not going to be able to immediately fulfill those orders. We do have 10+ more on order that we will see in the coming weeks and will ship them in the order we receive orders.

    SS135MOD: $355 + shipping <<2nd gen

    SS170HF: $350 + shipping <<1st gen

Estimated Shipping: $25-35 to western states, $35-50 for eastern states.

The cost is only ~$5 more to ship two to the same place, for example 2 snorkels to Florida would likely be $50 instead of $45 each.

Thanks and let us know how you want to proceed.

I talked to him today and the sale will now happen next week 2/27/12-3/2/12.
He informed that he has 10 of the 2nd gen snorkels and 5 of the 1st gen snorkels in stock and ready to ship out when ordered.

All you need to do to get in on this is call him up next week and tell him your part of the Tacoma World GB and you'll get the discount.

This is an awesome deal so lets get some snorkel orders comin :woot:

How much do you suppose install would even be on this. I think this is one DIY I might not brave, with cutting and drilling and whatnot. . .

Thats a pretty good question. I dunno if I could have someone else put a hole in my truck though. I feel as if thats a sentimental thing that I would want to do myself. I guess thats not to weird

This GB is for a Hilux snorkel...it is NOT a Tacoma snorkel. The installation of this snorkel on a Tacoma is custom.

If your glass maintains the same body lines it will work, but you will need additional hardware just like a stock truck does. I suggest EVERYONE read through the installation thread before they call Kurt.

Thank you XXXX, like he said it is a pretty custom install because they are made for the Hilux's. The good thing about these coming from Cruiser Outfitters is that they come with a template made for the 2nd gen tacomas to help aid in the drilling and cutting process.
