Is there any tricks to move the rear view mirror up to the top of the windshield? Mine is directly in my line of sight and am always ducking down to see the right side travel

No idea. You must be tall though, I have to sit up tall to get a good view out the back.

    Interested/curious though. Hence this post.

You can flip the mirror upside down so the day/night tab is on top and that might help. Otherwise, you'll need to get the mirror mounting tab off the window and get some mirror glue at autozone and move it up to where you want it.

Aren't they on an arm that's screwed into the roof above the windshield?

I think the arm looking thing just hides wiring in the backup camera mirrors.

I have the same problem and it's been talked about before. Either make sure that the mirror and arm are jammed up as high as they can go, and/or re-glue it, but a reglue gets tougher due to those dots that are right there in the mirror area.

I just looked at the OPs profile- His is a 2011..so he would have a back up camera I think.
My 2008 does not have a camera- and therefore no arm...Just glued to the glass.

I have the same problem since I traded up to the 2011; was not an issue in my 2009 though and I'm 5'11".

Anyone tried re-positioning the mirror? I'm curious because of the backup camera wiring.

It does, but it's not always enough. Better, but not fully out of the way.

Hey, I said "not always", I made no reference to those that are vertically challenged. :p
