Like the title says, my new 285/75/16 Toyo Open Country M/Ts came in today to replace the 305/70/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers that were slashed a couple of weeks ago.

I decided to go back down so my speedometer's reading is accurate again. They're way louder, too. Smooth ride, though. No complaints.

Nice!!! I got a set exactly like yours on my 1998 as well. Love them so, even though they were the most expensive set i've bought to date.. Gas mileage is in tears, but I made that grand choice.

Liking them a lot. They look really good. The Nittos and Toyos have their own pros and cons. The Nittos were a great tire and I'd recommend them to anyone but I was just ready for something new. These are definitely louder on the highway so I just turn my music up louder plus they look waaaay more badass. I wanted to go down in size just because I have a 3RZ and it was a lot of strain on the engine pushing those 305s around. Plus, my speedometer's back to being accurate again.

Just the stock 3.73s. Here are the Nitto 305s.

Sweet! I've got these in 265/70R17. Toyo's have been my favorites for years and used to run their AT's in the past as well.

I hear that. I was loving driving around with them today. They look mean as hell, too. I was sold when I found out that Toyos are made by the same company as Nitto because I loved my Terra Grapplers.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I was able to get through plenty and I was still averaging 20 mpg, I just didn't have a lot of pick up.

Right. That's what I meant. And, yeah, the side lugs are pretty deep. I love 'em.
