So that is a trail and not a road? And a speed limit still applies to trails? I once passed a NH cop with radar on I-95 doing about 90mph, and he didn't seem to care.

What kind of signals do you guys use on the snowmobiles to signal cops ahead? On motorcycles, we tap our helmets.

I used to commute from concord nh to Boston . I got pulled over at the border . Clocked at 101mph cop was pissed told me he was going to take my license and tow my car . But he handed me a nice fat ticket instead . It was like $500 I think

Yes the trails all have a speed limit of 45 in NH. No speed limit at all in Maine.

Not just for cops but left arm off bars and waving up and down. It's a caution signal but very effective to have people slow down on a sled. Everybody seems to understand how quick things go wrong on these things seeing how we ride on all snow and ice.

I think the only reason I wasn't pulled over is because Import Wars was going on at N.E. Dragway. Maybe the cop was looking for cars street racing or doing 100+

A buddy of mine got pulled over in his Mazda3 going to Plymouth state one weekend. The cop didn't even write a speed or amount over. He had to go to court to find everything out. We told him the car couldn't do 121 mph cause it was governed at 120. When we crested a hill, there were two NH Staties sitting in the median. That guy was pretty pissed.

How did he make out in court? I passed a cop in Sutton MA doing 120mph on rt 146, by the time he caught up I was in the next town. He glanced at my license and registration and let me go! Maybe he couldn't legally do anything by then.

I think it got thrown out because the officer didn't show up in court. He did have tot ravel all the way to plymouth, nh multiple times before that happened though.

Just out of curiosity. Do any of you guys put spare change in a jar? What's the most you have cash in ? How long did you save it for?

I have been doing this since I was a little kid .
I just finished rolling all my change from the last 2 years and it came out to $675.00 not including pennies . I'm bringing the pennies to the supermarket to put in the coin machine .

I have a coupe one liter Arizona tea bottles I use for change. One for quarters, the other for nickles and dimes. When they are full I think I get around $250 or more out of them.

My bank used to have Coinstar, they didn't take a percentage if you were a member. Last time I checked, Stop & Shop takes 10% of your cash for using their machine.
