I have a Superwinch lp8500. It came with those breakers on on the factory battery terminal. Then it goes to the cutout switch in front of the master cylinder(minus the red switch toggle). It splits to the front and rear with an ugly bolt/lug/mastic tape joint.
I used welding cable, since I could get it on the cheap. It is much more difficult to manage and connect. I got the quick disconnects from ebay.
The rear positive was run down the frame rail. The negative goes from the battery to the frame. I used a brake line hanger bolt for the connection. The rear negative will be bolted to a hole in the frame below the bed box. Pic to follow. I had to replace the factory negative lug, but reused the factory wires.

Still have to do the negative. It would have been a hell of a lot easier with the right size drill bit:/

    Check build in sig.
    Thanks for the info.

My winch should be here next week
I already got some quick connects
All i need now is some cable to connect to the rear.

I was told that you have to go to the battery for power and ground but curious to see if the way you did yours works. saves you a lot in cable

That's pretty bad. Is there anything that puts you ahead of the competition for being looked at?

gettin a platoon sgt slot or being rated as an e6 in an e7 slot. however. thats hard as fuck cuz we have to many e-7's.

and the reason i cant get looked at for another is is because of lack of time in service and grade

Yeah that always screws it up. Ours is called time in rate. Essentially the same thing.

Ok guys, I picked up my truck today from Firestone. Alignment is all done.... Now, just for some input, It seems like Im getting a lot of bump steer, I can feel it wandering as well. I expected a little wandering, but it doesnt feel like the alignment is correct. I felt the tires after driving for a few miles, and the inside portion of the tread on the front tires are pretty warm while the outside portion of the tread is not at all.... I did get the lifetime alignment from them, so I have not problem taking it back to them if anyone knows specific numbers to have them align it to?? Id rather have my truck, but I also realize that I would like it right.... Burg, you got any inputs on the numbers? That look like what yours is? You have spindles right?

EDIT, sorry its upside down..... fixing now!

Will they align it to what I ask them to? Will that do anything about the bump steer?
