if you're drilling your own mounting holes you can use whatever hardware you want. stainless or somehting with a good rust proofing is always nice.

on my roof racks i use stainless hardware. i need to check again, but i think the factory bolt holes take an m6-??

Most likely. Probably use those roll cage disconnects so I can still take them apart if needed.

Picked up a prototype set of LCA skids from johnw down here. I'm going to be testing them out this summer for him. after fixing any weak points i may find, he's thinking about making them to sell.

he did a great job contouring them both to the front and bottom of the arms.

I plan on just installing a plug on the outside of the house and buy a cord so i can use the welder in the shed or the driveway.

Got a package in the mail today. Vision-x 4'' flood light. i got the halogen version, but it's "compatable" with HIDs, so i may see if one of the extra slim balasts i have laying around will fit in the housing like they claim. if not, the 100w halogen bulb it comes with is actually pretty impressive. pleased so far with the light, and i'll get more pictures once it's mounted. oh, and they're a steal at $25 a pop :)
