    I just think that we're going to get to a point that people are going to stop coming to meets if the intensity of the trails increases beyond what the group as a whole is comfortable with - we have to plan for the least experienced driver and least capable vehicle.

    My truck is not suited for much more beyond what we did last summer and its my daily driver. I don't have the money to constantly be shelling out cash for repairs and mods and am not going to take that risk.

    Yea i thought last years fall stuff was great for a group. A few challenging obstacles, but more or less just a great area to be in :)

    Well then prepare to be bored because if I have to choose between planning a trip to an area that isn't quite as challenging as some of you would like versus going to an area that most of the group is going to be in over their heads and put everyone at the risk of hurting themselves, others or their vehicles I'm going to choose the boring trip. I don't want to alienate people from the meets just because they can't afford thousands of dollars on armor and tires and repairs.

    I've looked at that trail and it doesn't seem to be any worse than what we were on last summer - maybe longer and more remote but condition wise not worse.
