Hey guys. Anyone know how to do brakes and rotors? I guess Rob and John said I needed brakes and I can start to feel them wearing down at only 22,000 miles (omg lol). Anyone feel like teaching a noob how to do them? I'll give out a 40 dollar gift card to my dads Mexican place. (Was voted the best Mexican place in mass and out of the top 7 in the united states.) so Please lol. Would rather spend 150 in parts and do it myself then 1,200 at dealer lol. Thanks

Ya I went to YouTube and they have alot of videos. Was looking though them but would rather have a hands on thing. Like having someone show me what to do in person you know?. Just looking at the YouTube videos and doing it myself I could mess up and break something but if I had someone to help me then it's better. Thanks

Ive been there a couple times, I lived in Quincy for a couple years. Def good food and margaritas.

22k def isnt normal, but if you are driving in and around Boston the traffic has to be a factor in the faster than normal wear.

Thanks dude. My dad and His bother own it. Glad you liked it.

Yeah I live in Boston and everyday I'm in traffic. There isn't one day where I can drive somewhere without traffic lol. That has to be a factor like you said

Brakes on the yota are quite easy. I have done them on my old 96 plenty of times but not on my 2008 yet, but looking at the caliper, seems to be the same.
Toughest part I found was getting the spring clip off with the pins since mind were a little bent and lining up the pin hole on reinstall was tough.
You may not need new rotors and could just have them resurfaced with new pads, I forget what I paid for resufacing but it wasn't much. I would love to lend a hand but I just don't know when I would have time. I have a separate garage with an open bay for truck work.

I have a detached 3 bay garage all for myself. one for my tractor, one for working and the other still has the wifes junk along with the kids summer toys which have not made it back into the yard yet.

    I am jealous.

I have a 2 car garage with very low ceilings, def under 7ft. I can barely fit my truck in but it isnt practical to use on a daily basis.

Right now, 1 side has my motorcycle and my brothers quad. And the other side stays open.
