First "official" mod was DIY tailgate lock. At the same time, I also painted my badges to flat black.

Right on. :headbang: You can't go wrong with that. I need more pictures of this beauty of yours. That future mod list of yours will only get longer. Next thing you know, you're gonna be asking if I should put more $$$ into this thing at 135K miles. haha. What mileage are you at?

I bought it with 111k on the clock, my old truck (04 Sierra) had 142k on it when I got it. I have faith in Toyota's and their reputation that's why I had no difficulty saying yes to 100k miles

I'm actually only doing stuff that I can swap between different trucks as I plan to get my dream truck ASA the price drops down on white 4x4s.

Not a bad idea for the tip. Report back in a few months to see how its holding up. Otherwise the badges on the tailgate look good.

thankyeman. i didn't clear them cause I didn't have any matte, so tonight I went and picked some up. Tomorrow I'm painting my lower valance flat black, and painting the two side emblems.

and that High Heat paint is awesome. I can tell just my looking at it that it'll hold up. That picture is of one coat. Tomorrow I'm jacking the truck up and doing the exhaust all the way to the cats.. or until i run out of paint. LOL

really the hardest thing is taking a razor blade to cut some of the coating away from the shifter light wires, after that i soldered two leads onto them and went from there. my footwell lights are run to my far left cubby thing and i have a switch there so i can cut them off whenever i want. the cupholder leds are hardwired w/ no switch so they automatically cut on with my lights.

I hear you bro! Once I get a good job I plan to upgrade.

Do Line-X for your bumper, all my armor is going to be done in it because of their warranty and the fact it's not as rough as rhinoliner. If you need any help with the interior lights let me know I'll be glad to help!
