bosch spark plugs

dealer tell me tocama does not run good off bosch plugs/i hve purchased some bosch 4 platinum for my granddaugher 2001 tacoma v6 i figured they would be better than the denso 2 that is shown on the diagram on the engine you guys an gals have any opinion on how the bosch 4 would be for the tocama has 250k on it

 

i ran some Bosch platinum's in my '88 yota 3.0 V6 and didn't notice any difference with them, good plugs IMO

 

I have a 2nd gen so not the same comparison, but I ran non-Denso's (not Bosch) and then switched back. It ran much better with the Denso's.

 

denso or ngk for japanese and bosh for euro or american. I have run bosh and they wore out quicker and had alot of blow-by past the insulator. Just stick with denso.

 

The Bosh 4 plugs will run very hot. Lots of people complained about these running very bad in their trucks.

 

The dealer is right. Stick with OEM Denso or NGK plugs. (See this thread for additional info.)

 

Dont get me started on bosch. If you like pulling heads and doing machine work be my guess. The metal bosch uses doesnt like the heads of the toyota metal wise. This also goes for honda also.

Mine screwed my threads up and i had a spark plug eject. Took it to the machine shop no crap other 5vz heads in there same thing bosch plugs.

Had to repair all 6 spark plug threads 3 where close to failure.

 

As others have stated, stick with Denso or NGK
