Soon I'll be getting a toolbox (which I'll probably paint black), black brush guard, painted black rims and blacking out those ugly orange turn signals and making either the halo rings my turn signal or the LED's.

you can turbo the 2TR. it's been done. there aren't much details on it though. but i would go full standalone if you can afford it. custom turbo manifold would need to be made as well, and you could still use the stock intake manifold, the URD supercharger uses the stock intake manifold as well. so its possible. just gotta dump money and a bit of custom fab.

ohhhh man. i think im gonna do this. my buddy gave me two turbos for my WS6 Trans Am but they were too small. I gotta look at the maps but one should work for the taco. we were just BSing the other day how one would probably be good for the truck and i was like, i dont think we can tune this computer.

Can anybody point me to a good thread. I have questions about the fuel system, whats the hp limit on the stock components etc.

go to custom tacos. there are a few really really old threads on this. not much info though.

i can tell you the bottom end should be pretty good with 8 lbs. or so. Cast Iron block, forged pistons. URD uses a 5th injector to take care of the fuel needs on its supercharger kit.

dunno anything really about how the head flows, however. besides that, good luck and spend the money and do it right if your gonna do it.

Just picked up my 2012 Tacoma at the dealership and already feeling like this is the best one I've owned. Got a black one with auto. Now I'm starting to think about it as a clean slate to do some mods. I'm thinking the first might be a crossover toolbox. Any suggestions from the group? Thinking ahead and wondering how to attach a box when the bed doesn't seem set up for J-bolts. Maybe someone can fill me in on a good box and how to attach. I saw another post with good feelings for the UWS box but still don't know how to make the attachment.

I'm glad there is a regular cab thread. Thanks.
