Nice I'm looking to get the wheelers myself. Build is looking good! How long did it take to get the bump stops?

    so update on the bumps...

fronts were shipped instead of the rears...so got a buddy who will fab up a mount to weld onto my plates..same concept but will save a couple bucks and will be able to get a custom height on the bumps..

same buddy is working on a rear bumper for me too...going with a non-HC style to keep it simple for now and gain some departure angle...will be similar to a brute/relentless style bumper with an integrated tow package behind the license plate and two shackle mounts

should have some lca skids coming in the near future soon too..and ato's coming in the beginning of may weekend before moab...

so until the armor comes it'll be small projects to keep the ball moving...

    got:

led strips for rock lights to install
ammo cans to mount for tow strap and tie down items
    fluid changes
    adjust my clutch pedal
and need to lose some weight in the truck so a thorough cleaning is in need

planning on doing any type of wrap around on the rear bumper? I think it'd be cool to make a non-HC plate rear bumper with tube wrap arounds to protect the lower bedsides

thought about doing something like the BoxRocket did with a tube protecting the bottom of the bedside...

thinking of a bent tube coming from the main support, bending around the corner and popping out the bottom under the bedside and ending just behind the mud flap...

yea but i don't have $$ to get a full HC setup...

this will do for now..and the tube will help if i come down on anything...

ideally i'd want a HC with tire carrier but that'll have to wait

if we go with any side protection, we're shooting for a more low key look than demello's. functional, but doesn't really flow well...

Do this then justifying the cost of the HC bumper is a lot easier :)

I'm hoping Relentless can finish my HC bumper in time to get it on the truck before Moab.

I've checked with most of the builders and I won't be able to get one before Moab so I'm putting my money away and waiting till after the moab rush

That's when I ordered my front bumper.

I'm going to wait for Tim to use my truck as the first HC rear on the 05+ if all goes according to plan.

yea i could have a HC for a good price by moab, but if i do that i'd also want the tire carrier, and honestly that's the most expensive part of the bumper.

i already have a dent in the side of my bedside, so if i get another it won't be too bad..and if i dent it bad, i'll sell my bumper and have my buddy make a HC at a later date..it'll just get cut off eventually

i'd ideally like to have a crawler in the next few years anyway, so that'll see the hard trails in the future..
