I see in your profile that you have a 2009 Tacoma.
This console will not work in 2009 and newer Tacomas, it will only work in 2005 thru 2008's

I know its sold, but if I had the basic overhead console in my truck, and found one of those, how hard is it to install?

 

very simple, just take out one screw, i think it's where the sunglass holder is, and then slide the console out, and there is one plug already there, all you do is plug it in and you're good to go

 

there are two plugs, cause one is for the dome lights, and the other one is for compass

 

well.. I'll be keeping my eye out for one of those too then, haha.. what do they usually cost? Thanks guys!!

 

u can get a new one for about 270 for all three parts that you need, but i'd say low 100s is a very fair price
