Anyone got a set of stock 16" wheels/rims (Not steelie) for sale? I bought my truck used and it had aftermarket wheels on it, didn't realize the spare was the stock 17" Sport rim until I had a flat while out in the sticks hunting.

The center cap on the aftermarket wheels wouldn't let me slip the spare over (center hole on the spare was just a bit too small). Tried to find the same wheel online and at a few dealers but after 3 weeks of searching I can't find them. Figured it would be easier to just go back to the stock wheels.

Was an eye opener for me when I was out in the sticks (20 miles north of the Mexico border) and couldn't get my spare on. Lesson learned...

 

Why didn't you just pull the center cap off?

 

Any az peeps interested? Maybe even trade for something depending on what u have?

That's what I thought, no prob.

I did that, I should have said that..... Amazingly the center cap was stuck on the rear drum. It was like fused on. I ended up taking a tire iron to it and smashed it up until I was able to get the spare on and got back out to the black top..

Never did get the center cap off... Reminds me, I gotta fire up the air hammer and see if I can rip that pig off.

 

Next week I will have a set of 15" rims off my 98 Taco Limited for sale. I will post pics after I get the new tires on the newer rims I got.

 

need a set of 05+ sport or off road trd rims or some other cheap rims to put my 33's on for moab! Want to keep my current rims and tires in good shape.
