Annual Spring Mojave Run May 4-6, 2012

lol we need to move on from that one but it's ok to bring up P-Trac even a whole year later? hahahaha

I can't wait!!!! As for damage, I'm gonna make sure to bring spare bolts and parts, but most importantly, I'm going to take it easy. God knows I don't want a break down 300 miles away from home lol.

Word! Waking up early Thursday and heading out! I hate packing lol; I'm always scrambling.

I'm packing Wednesday..

 

I'm sure I'm gonna pack ahead of time, but I seem to always make it hectic.

 

I usually start packing the week before and lay out everything on my garage floor. If I pack the night before I'll forget something. My memory is so bad, I have to text myself on what I need to remember later in the day.

 

I started a to-do before the trip list last night .. its already a page long

 

I still need to build my rear and get a bumper.

 

Oh man, thats a task. I have a ton of little things to get done this weekend, its the only one I have free til May. Glad its just little stuff like putting another leaf in my pack, wiring some electronics and little stuff like that.

Ill be up there fairly early on thursday as well. Should be packed by wednesday night hopefully.

 

I just have to swing by work for a few hours on Thursday to run a conference call. I may have to drop the G/F off at her parents place in Valencia on my way up, so I'm not sure if I will be making the trek with the SD peeps. I will know closer to that time.

 

Johnny any update on the schedule?
Also who is planning on leaving late Friday or early Sat to the campsite.

 

We'll set a time schedule as we get closer. But it will be something like this. Laughlin group will be gassed up, loaded with food and iced up ready to go by the time the Barstow group arrives. The Barstow group should be arrive in Barstow at 6:30am and LEAVING Barstow at 7am on Friday morning. Because we're leaving into the desert a few later hours than normal, it's important we get off to a fast start.

We would like to be at camp around 3pm or so to secure enough camping spots, set up camp and relax.

As of right now you, Andy and possibly Matt Nelson will be leaving late Friday, early Saturday.

 

What's the Barstow group? Ill either leave to meet up with them to caravan or just go straight to laughlin. Either way I will be at laughlin and ready to roll on time.

barstow at 7am friday for the last caravan to Laughlin. you are welcome to leave ahead of the caravan if you choose to.
