    Pulled out a few full size rigs.

    Only pics I have.

    This was an 7.3L excursion that blew out his front hubs. Stuck in snow. Me and a TJ winched him out together, with another Tacoma anchoring the TJ as it was just pulling him.

    Can't really see him.

    Pulled out a durango that night too.

    Then later pulled out the same 7.3 excursion and a blazer who was trying to pull the 7.3 out. Terry buried his blazer on 40s.

    In the end a TJ, the Blazer, and I all winched him until he got on solid ground. It was soupy nasty stuff and he is HEAVY.

    I think his wench line is synthetic, not metal cable.

    To get better traction in sand you need to remove some air from your tires. Deflate the tires to 15 PSI or so and they will leave a bigger footprint on the sand, therefore giving you more traction. If you have large rims and low profile tires you cannot deflate the tire too much. The taller the sidewall the more you can deflate without the bead coming off the rim.
