Is it possible to buy a color matched grille?

So I have a 2012 TRD Off-Road, and as much as I love it, I am not much of a chrome guy. So I was wondering if it was possible to buy color matched grilles and bumpers like those on the TRD-Sport?

P.S. some of you might say, "you should have just bought the TRD-Sport" and no that was not an option, I wanted the TRD Off-Road.

 

I think they can come in black and have to get the sprayed. 250 from what ive seen.

 

Yes, you can buy color matched. There's a great deal on here for the grilles, where I got mine, from a dealer on the east coast $180.00. I'll look around for the link.

He increased his prices and shipping last Feb... Toyota of Dallas is now cheaper for some colors. He might still be cheaper on some.

 

Titus-Will is often better, but you have to know EXACTLY what you want because their listing has no diagrams or photos.

Sometimes I'll use Dallas to pull my part numbers and then buy from TW, but that's pretty rare... I'll usually just drop it into my cart at Dallas.

Just to be clear, the grills can be found color-matched although for your 12 prices/availability may be an issue. The rear bumper comes in either chrome or black primer. It you want the bumper color-matched you need to paint it or get it painted yourself

 

Anyone know the 2012 grille part #? I cant seem to find it listed on any website... it's as if they are keeping it secret! I need it to get a price quote on a color-matched grille from some dealers.

 

Part number is 53100-04450-C1. I have a 2011, they sent me a 2012 so you have to specify year and provide vin. The C1 is black. Cost 170.00.

 

So do all model years have the same part#?

When I went to purchase a color matched grille for my '11, they accidentally ordered a '12 grille. (Good thing I checked) All you have to do is go to the parts department of your dealership and they should be able order it for you. Just make sure they order the correct part.

Of course the drawback is they are rather pricey when ordering new from the stealership.

 

got any idea that if a got a '05 does fit a '12 grill , what i want is replace the original '05 grille for the ' 12 grille , any idea if the parts fit...

 

they're not meant to be compatible, but I think u could probably do a little custom work if you change the grille, headlights, bumper, and probably the hood too

 

Grille, headlights, bumper, hood, fenders, bumper mounts, brackets, etc....
The 2012 is 100% new exterior sheetmetal from the firewall forward. The only thing common is the radiator support and inner fender wells.

Seriously... probably cheaper to just trade the '05 for a '12.

 

What color is your truck? I took the Magnetic Gray off of mine and replaced with chrome. I might sell you my grey one if it is what you want.
