Well I went for a drive last night so I could get to this....

Next step is to get the tranny flushed and change all gear oils and other maintenance. Front rotors and breaks as well. Any other tips on what to look into changing at this mileage? I changed plugs, oil, air filter 1k miles ago.

Ha, I do. The PO didn't. He lived in Nome, Alaska. There are no roads in or out of that village, so he couldn't go very far. I've put on 12k miles since last July. Which I suppose isn't much compared to you lower 48ers, lol.

So I'm thinking of switching from my flowmaster to a magnaflow muffler because my flowmaster is getting too loud for me esp on the highway. Anyone have any recommendations between the 14'' and 18''? I've watched a bunch of videos and searched but haven't really found enough. Thanks!

    i LOVE my 14''!!!

click my sig to go to my build. scroll down a ways in the first post and i have like 3 vids of it.

    its bad ass!

the 14 is a single chamber muffler and is much edgier sounding. The 18 is a dual chamber and is quieter all around but a deeper tone.

i can tell you that mine is loud from 1.6-2.2k rpms. once it goes to 2.3k-2.7k its pretty damn quiet. wakes up again from there.

    so its great for cruising.

Ya that's true on the tires haha I have a good sound system too which I listen to but my exhaust right now has a pretty bad drone. Thanks for the help! Maybe someone with the 18'' will chime in too :D

im sure some one will. They are pretty popular mufflers now.

Nah leavin it that way fully plated is not really my style I like it as simple as possible. Gets to be a little too much at some point imo. Just gonna paint the tubing and leave the aluminum. The only reason we added those side skids was because the radiator stuck out past the middle skid. Turned out lookin pretty flush though. Couple little hot rod style touches in it too that you wouldn't notice until your up close.

Dave Bowman: Hello, HAL. Do you read me, HAL?
HAL: Affirmative, Dave. I read you.
Dave Bowman: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.
HAL: I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
    Dave Bowman: What's the problem?
HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Dave Bowman: What are you talking about, HAL?
HAL: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Dave Bowman: I don't know what you're talking about, HAL.
HAL: I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
Dave Bowman: [feigning ignorance] Where the hell did you get that idea, HAL?
HAL: Dave, although you took very thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.
Dave Bowman: Alright, HAL. I'll go in through the emergency airlock.
HAL: Without your space helmet, Dave? You're going to find that rather difficult.
Dave Bowman: HAL, I won't argue with you anymore! Open the doors!
HAL: Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.

    jk, :D sick looking....I jelly
