I like the prices as well but kinda wonder what the quality is. For my intended use I probably can't go wrong. Maybe I'll call today and get some info

    You don't like the price?

Any sliders are better than no sliders. I paid almost $500 for mine and didn't include shipping or painting. They have paid for themselves sooooo many times out on the trails.

If you like the look of them I say do it. Or save and spend a little more for a set you like. I really like the Beefed sliders and the stuff B.A.M.F. is putting out.

You usually do pay for what you get. The do seem very anxious to sell them. Free delivery... nobody offers free delivery.

We are doing sliders for all applications of framed vechiles. $180 for sliders, they come with three legs for each side ready to be welded on and are long enough to allow you to set your sliders as far or close to your rocker panels as you want. We offer two different styles that are in the pictures with this ad. If your in the Ogden area we can deliver to your door for free, or ship it to any where for $30. We also offer fully built sliders ready to be installed on the vechile for welded on or bolted on, all we need is the angle you want your sliders at and where your legs need to be! WE also install many sliders in our shop for only $75 we will paint and install your sliders

    Hey guys,
Was thinking about taking my son to a relativly low elevation (too cold at night for him high up) over nighter tomorrow. I live in the SL valley. I was thinking of something close. Maybe up butterfield canyon or even as far as payson canyon.

I would like to avoid the formal camp grounds and take the Taco back in the woods a little. Anybody got any good little spots that wont get me a ticket for the camp fire?

I thought about that. Theres not much for the boy to do out there. Maybe I need to wait a little longer. I wanted to get a quick trip in before Moab to help sort through all my gear and make sure I'm not missing something. Im still open to any other ideas if anyone has one.
    Thanks JasoTaco.

The best things can be done out there ;) :infantry:
A lot of history out there from old mines to the Pony Express trail etc.

    Good luck :)

Im not sure if the bountiful peak trail is open this early but theres a campsite at the top of the peak. Pretty nice drive up might need to wait a few more weeks though

Good luck on the jobs man.

Yea, good point. You can unload some brass out there in a hurry.

This is a good idea. I think I will wait until June. Moab in 2 weeks!

I know the farmington entrance is closed and will be for a long while. It was washed out last year and still not repaired. The contract isn't due to be awarded until August of 2012, so it might be open this time next year, depending on how winter treats us.

The Bountiful side of skyline is still open though, and apparently you can still get to the weather station/smith creek lakes by taking francis peak road, bypassing the farmington entrance all together.

Not sure which gates are actually open at this point though, but I'm guessing you can probably find a few camp sites along skyline, although they would be more "civilized" camp sites. If you're able to make it back to the Smith Creek Lakes, there's lots of potential camp sites there. Been wanting to camp back there myself one of these days.

As far as other camping goes, there are many road side camp groups up american fork canyon, but I know thats not really what you're looking for. It might be good enough for now though. You cant really get to the better sites until they open up the dirt roads. You can always do something out by 5 mile pass as well, but thats kinda boring.

I had some camping plans fall through this weekend so I might ride my bike up Skyline Saturday to see how the road goes until it's blocked with snow. I can guarantee though the gate is closed at the top from Bountiful to Farmington, they always drag their feet when it comes to opening it.

Camping back by those lakes is on my to do list too. Plus since we went up there with that group I have wanted to build a zip line with the winch into the lake...

Haven't heard from you for awhile hope you been well.
