This concerns me as I paid for a 3 hoop 2 weeks ago and I called the talked to the girl who said they just now starting on it. Hoping for the best, but yeah 1300 and a wait period sucks. Kick ass looking product though.

    Sub'd for resolution.

I ended up waiting quite some time for my front bumper. However, I was told from the beginning that it would be done when it was done, and it wouldn't be done until it was done right.

I was fine with this, and just told the vendor to call me when it was ready for pick up.

Hope Demello is addressing it internally, too. It could've easily been handled better. Don't underestimate word-of-mouth.

No Demello chime-in, no buy-in. Lots of sub'd on here.

Wow, this is horrible. Looks like ARB or Brute Force will be getting my money now. I don't put up with this bullshit. Too bad, I really wanted that 3-hoop Demello.

P.S. I can't believe they haven't even chimed in. I asked them a question in their vendor forum more than a week ago. Still no response. It is as if they went AWOL. Seem to have forgotten the importance of customer service.

    Lets not get TOO crazy.
    1) If you read more than just the title- You would see that DO is talking to the guy. They can come on here and say whatever they want- but until the OP says "They done right by me" it probably won't much matter what DO posts.

    2) And you just dropping a message out there for them to read when they get to it means- They'll get it when they get there. If you want an answer now- Put some effort in and make a phone call. I won't venture to speak for DO- but I'm going to guess they have vendor areas on a few sites- and the more they troll those-The less welding they do.

    .

There is an old saying in customer service "If someone is happy, they tell 5 people, if they are unhappy, they tell 20 people"
I think the OP did the right thing by posting his frustration, sounds like he had been pretty patient. I'm sure DO has enough business sense to address this issue, it sounds like their problem, not the OP's. BUT, demanding DO to come on to our forum and climb up on a cross for you people is frankly pretentious. Let DO and the OP sort it out, when he gets the product, I would assume that he will post again to give us his feedback. All this speculation helps no one.

I am going to throw my support in for Domello, there are hundreds of happy customers out there and thus far one very bad and inexcusable experience. I would not throw Domello into the "don't do business with" bin based on one experience...especially if Jason does his best to resolve. I just purchased a three hoop Domello from Jacque at TRD and it was delivered in a matter of days. I then called Domello and ordered a hawse fairlead and driving lights for the bumper...they were delivered three days later. Thus far, nothing but great service from Domello. Before everyone trashes Domello I would wait and see what Jason does to make things right. If he doesn't then...there you go!

True, however, why put it out there if you can't keep up with it. It seems there a a few vendors on here that seem to be overloaded with work and can't seem to get to the customer service.

Not taking sides here at all , but surely the shipping destination was revealed at the time of getting a shipping quote , and brokerage fees / customs / taxes are generally COD , unless other arrangements are made at the time of purchase .

As a customer. If I pay for a product and the business has stated to me on what to expect. I expect that commitment once I finalize it with sending my payment. Sending my payment is a sign to the business that I've full-filled my end of the transaction.

If I've already paid for something in full and then have to wait 3 months on a delay. I'd be irate. You sir are a better person than I am.

They have your money in full and with those kinds of delays and lack of communication. Id be pissed as shit. I hate nothing more than to be kept in the dark and then to add insult to injury. Fed a lie that seems like a generic answer to other delayed customers. Such a generic lie to customers that they forgot that they already spoon fed you that one. . . Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.

This is how Large successful companies loose sight and start to slowly lose business to their competition. I love the look of Demello products and I personally own stuff from them.

However I wouldn't hesitate to look elsewhere if a situation like that occurs and they don't go out of their way to make it right. How hard is it for them to offer the $200 shipping tab and then knock off 10-20% of the bumper cost?

I mean, what if you were on a deadline for a up and coming off-road trip and needed that front bumper?

Glad something is moving in the right for you. . . In the end, I hope the wait was well worth it for you.

Not sure if OP has come to a resolution...but if it were me I don't care how close the bumper is to being done, I would demand a full refund If they wanted me to pay an extra $200 for shipping. They should eat the $200 for horrible service. If the bumper was done today and they refused to drop the extra charge I would demand a full refund and buy from somewhere else. The situation is unacceptable IMO especially for something so expensive.
