SAGGY REAR END - HELP!!!

    So I promise I know how to use the search tool but I haven't been able to find anyone with my same issue so here goes-

    A couple of months ago I bought a used 2011 DCLB TRD Sport with a 1" block in the rear and 2" coil spacers in the front. It seemed dead level at first, but now the rear seems to be sagging. I had the leaf spring TSB done and that brought it up some, but the rear still sags about 3/4" lower than the front (maybe in part due to my A.R.E. Z series camper top?). I really want some rake back, but would settle for it at least being level. I have 285/75/R17 Cooper Discoverer Maxx tires, so I dont think lowering the front back down is an option. My local 4x4 shop suggested replacing the rear 1" block with a 2" block and replacing the stock Bilsteins with 5100's (because with the extra leaf and 1" block I'm already close to maxing out the stock shocks). What do you guys suggest to get some rake back and/or get rid of the sag?

    ANY help would be greatly appreciated...

    Don't replace the 1" block with a 2" block and shame on your shop for suggesting that you do so... Replace the 1" block with an add a leaf. It'll actually help support the additional weight of the shell and help reduce axle wrap induced by the block.

    I would also look into ditching the front spacer lift for a set of front 5100's also but that's another issue...

    dirty truck mod, custom trailer scratch on tailgate, husky floorliners, OME Lift
    get a set of dakar springs by old man emu and some new longer shocks. If you have to go cheap, I think they have a 2" add a leaf, but I would still suggest doing it right with a new pack and shocks if you plan on keeping your truck for long. Either way you may need the new shocks.

    I would suggest replacing the rear leaf springs. They are likely beat. Like the guy above suggested. Get some Dakars

    Edit: it is a 2011. The springs likely arent beat, but just unable to carry a load. Get Dakars.

    Yeah, I definitely want to eventually replace the front spacers with the 5100's.. And I was also worried about replacing a block with an even bigger block- for some reason buddy at the shop didnt seem to think it was a problem.. And, as for the springs-they are "brand new", tsb'ed less than a month ago.. But they hardly have any upward arc to them. The dealership service manager said thats just how they are...? Does that seem right either?

    Your buddy is half right. There's nothing technically wrong about using a taller block however it won't do anything to help your situation. It will cause axle wrap and wear out that new TSB leaf pack pretty quickly. Ditch the block and go with an AAL.

    Are you sure you have the TSB leaf pack? You should have 4 leafs total, including the overload leaf. Regardless, I'd look into AAL to solve your problem. Personally, I like the Icon or Wheeler's 3-leaf AAL. Gives you 2" of lift if you leave the overload leaf in place and rides very nice, especially if you have the extra weight of a shell.

    2" sounds good, but since the lift is coming from leaf springs, and I have a 200lb shell on the back at all times, will that depress the springs down below my target height? Would I still need the 1" block to get some rake?
