    I have one of the first battery powered versions and just this week ordered two of the hardwired versions, one as a surprise for my son and his new to him Sport and I'm going to update my battery powered unit.     Guys, in an effort to get things rolling, we've lowered the Group Buy discount to only 10 members, and 25 for the deeper discount. Let's take the plunge, you will not be disappointed!

In our history, we'e only had ONE light come back from a customer that wasn't completely satisfied. Yes, we've had a few glitches along the way and immediately sent out replacement units - again we back our products!

    Please realize, we are building these units by hand in the U.S.A. with mostly U.S. suppliers, and U.S. labor... (ourselves).

    We believe that once you use one of these lights - standard or custom, you will most likely wonder why you waited. We are NOT making chinsy Chinese knock-offs here - these are built from PC/ABS, with the highest quality components available.     How does the wiring work with these? Is it just a hot and cold wire that you hook up straight to the battery or cabin light? My ideal set up would be a V2 with blue and amber, blue for when the doors open and amber for driving. Sounds a little tricky with the wiring but if this IS possible....Im interested.

    These lights are tied into the Tacoma dimmer circuit but are not connected to the door circuit although, I'm sure it could be done with enough effort.

    Thanks for the bump. Useful, yes but I wouldn't go so far as to say, "lights up everything" though. Although we use super-bright LEDs, we don't run them at 100%. We found that running them that hot does two things: It kills the batteries too fast (on the V1s) and more importantly, become a distraction and a potential hazard with certain color sets. They are intended to be used as an accent/utility light and when all else fails, an emergency light source.

    A while back I purchased one of the battery operated units and was very satisfied with the quality and finish of this product. My only issue with it, and it was MY issue, was as the daylight would approach I would often forget to turn off the unit when exiting the vehicle. Needless to say when the guys at Flyzeye began to advertise the soon to be released hard wired version, I got on line and awaited shipping. This thing is great, same great quality and finish and completely automatic. Buy one, you won't regret it.

    This is an awesome product. I've had the wired version installed since Christmas and I often forget it's an aftermarket device. The product and the lights fit/match the truck perfectly. I highly recommend it.
