Where is my vibration coming from?

I just installed an OME kit on my truck(coilovers, leaf packs, shocks, and carrier bearing drop kit). Install went great. Now I have noticed a shuddering at take off up to 10mph and then a smaller vibration on up to almost 50 that you can barely feel. I've read some on differential vibration, but I am not hearing a growl. I may be hearing something, but I am more than likely making myself hear this or it is not very much at all. How can I tell if it is my driveline or differential? If it is driveline, I need to get axle shims and new centering pins, right? What would I need to do if it is up front? A whole new unit, or did I read somebody had come out with a bushing to fix it?

I have a dif drop kit that I have not installed as well. I was just told to try the hose clamp boot mod.

 

I'm relatively new to the forum but I've read up on this, anticipating any issues with a lift, but I'm not an expert by any stretch. Most people seem to try putting it in 4HI while in motion. If the vibe goes away, it's probably the front diff. There's a needle bearing that supports the driver side axle - the interface between the two has too much play in it. From what I understand, messing with front *may* cause vibes coming from the front driveline (the front diff). Messing with the rear *may* cause vibes in the rear driveline (transfer case and rearward). here's and interesting thread on shimming the carrier bearing/ rear axle/ etc to get rid of rear driveline issues:

EDIT: by 'front' and 'rear', I meant adding a lift to those locations.

 

Thanks aaron. I am thinking it is my driveline. That thread definately has some good info. Hopefully I can figure it out somewhat quickly. It bothers the crap out of me.

 

I'll get my buddy to save me his magazines. I dont get them, but I was talking to him about them just the other day, so I know he does.

 

Rear leaf U bolts? How does the carrier bearing affect those? I think I'm missing something...

 

I had the same problem I had put a 6" on with 33s and had that when I took off it ended up being the carrier bearing I put a new one on it got better then I added ladder bars and it went away
