The Console Vault works well. Keeps a GPS, bunch of keys, and my CCW locked when needed. I would recommend it highly if price is not stopping you. It's way better than anything I've seen fabbed so far.

 

Anyone know if a Glock 17 will fit nicely into one of these Console Vaults?

 

I would guess 'yes'. The vault will fit my Browning Hi-Power with just a tiny bit of finesse. My M&P 9c has a lot of room to spare.

 

I remember seeing a thread somewhere on here where a guy made one himself. He bought a sheet of steel and fab'd it up. It didn't look all that difficult, just a little time consuming. I'll see if I can find it again.

It's worth the money...just think of everything you normally have in your truck...GPS, iPod, phone, etc. It all adds up to more than a Console Vault if it is stolen.

 

I have one too, but mine has a keyed lock. Seems like most pics I see are the combo lock style. It is a solid product - highly recommended.

Yes you can. I love mine, usually it just is used for gps, iPod, etc. But it really comes in handy especially if you're a CCW holder and need to go somewhere that you can't carry.

Would assume so as my SW99 in a holster fits but just barely due to the size of the opening but will sit flat after you angle it in.

 

This might be a better alternative depending what you plan to keep in it. AND for less than $20.00.

Wow that box is sweet. Anyone try to put a glock 22 in it yet? or a ruger sr22?

 

may get one. i also see they have LEO and military discounts. may have dad get it, since on most stuff that has leo discounts he can get them.

I love my console vault. I often leave my wallet in the truck, locked up tight. Guns, electronics, and cash, all safe. You won't get it open without a torch.
