    Nice write up but damn that sucks! I guess no led swap for me. I need to change the switch lights though!

    Lol ya... It's collecting dust right now becuz I'm going to try to attempt the swap maybe in the summer...goin to use my schools soldering station with micro scope and all...I still need to find out what lights are used on the radio

    If I can find a cheap second radio I will give it a shot! Do they use the same led as in the cluster?

    No, the pre12s LEDs are half the size of the cluster LEDs and the ones on that new radio are half the size of that :facepalm:

    It's the same as the 05-early2011...some of the 2011s have the same cluster as the 12s

    Only difference is that it had a couple of less lights

    Back on topic! What size of LEDS does the radio (05-11) take? If the dash takes 3526 (sic), then the radio would take....

    tinted windows, tinted lights, 3” lift
    so i did this and now for some reason only the radio works and i can't change volume or do anything with the steering controls, i can't use the cd player or aux or change from fm to am, is something touching where i soldered or what do you guys think it could be? on the positive side all the lights came out good lol

    What size led's are the 3 behind the clock? What size are the bulbs to the right side the clock on the bigger circuit board that plugs into the back of the clock? There are five of them. 2 are bigger than the other 3. Thanks!

    Ok... went back and read again and found the size of the clock led's. But still didn't see the size to use for the security and airbag bulbs. Anyone know?

    is there a way to get to the back side of the screen? someone detailing the truck let armuor all run behind the glass. some i have nasty streeks across the front of radio.
