    Thanks!
I found a piece 0f 1/4" x 2" flat stock in the scrap bucket at work and figured i'd give it a shot.
I'm going to try to make a cb antenna mount for the olther side and see if i can find a swivel base like you were talking about.
Does the Firestik come with evrything (cable etc.)

    Looks good Denis
Is that a piece of rubber on the other end ?
I'll be doing this myself this weekend + making a cb mount as well . First trail lastweekend fucking broke the mount that came with the cb . Funny thing was even with the antenna laying in the bed I could still hear everyone fine .

The piece on the end is from an old rubber mallet i had lying around i cut it in half(1 1/2" each side) and screwed it to the end of the flat stock.

Typically the Firestik antenna is by itself, and sometimes the mounts come with coax cable

Quick question for my Taco Genius's out there....
When I start my truck, and put it in reverse (sometimes forwards) I hear some form of trickling like someone is hitting a small wrench to a hollow metal pipe (pretty quietly but repeatedly) from the drivers side front wheelISH. Or just drivers side in general. I also hear it when radio is down to zero, and I'm off the gas enough to not hear the muffler and something solid is next to me to relay the sound back. Any ideas greatly appreciated!!! I'll see if you guys can diagnose the problem before I bring it to my local shop either friday or saturday for them to run a small checkup physical on my girl haha. I wont get anything done from those $$$ stealers

Make sure none of the dust guards are rubbing the rotor. I doubt that's the problem because it usually makes an awful sound but start with the small stuff!

Does speed make the sound faster or louder? Any tie to engine RPM or only when you're moving? If you take a short drive, touch the wheel to see if it's hot which would indicate a brake disc dragging.

I will try today. Probably need my brother to hold the camera when I put it in reverse. Will do it after work today!

Could be I'll see how hot the wheel is after a ride.

The sound does not increase the faster I go as far as I know. I will run some tests and give you guys a better evaluation after work. I don't believe its anything big it almost sounds like a lose bolt just shaking around.

ALSO when you guys close the drivers side door/ drivers side rear door does your rear fender (bed fender) shake a little? Theres a missing tab from inside my bed on that side missing BUT I dont believe thats what holds it in place.
Just a couple small fixes im going to work on over the next couple weeks. Any info helps! Thanks guys!!!
