I have the tick your talking about. It starts when I'm starting the engine and letting it warm up. It's like a metal to metal sound. It's not loud but more like a tick. I don't know what it is but goes away after I drive it for awhile. I don't know what it could be buy doesn't sound too bad.

I also have to same noise when I close my doors lol. I think what you said about a clip that got loose or fell off is what might cause the noise. Everytime I go over a bump I have a huge noise like the whole hack fenders are falling off lol. I thought it was my exhaust tips touching the lead springs but I fixed the tips and it's still making a loud noise . I'll have to check the clips when I'm on break. Thanks for bringing it up lol.

Where would the clips that hold on the rear fenders be. Are they under the fender where the back wheel wells are?

Get to an empty lot and see if the soud gets worse in a tight, slow speed turn or see if you get any other sounds that present at full lock. If it's a dust cover for the brakes, it'll sound really bad when you turn.

Hopefully it's not a bearing or CV joint starting to go bad. If it is, there's only so much you can do about it other than wait til it goes and replace it.

You guys have noise problems. Maybe you should all install a system so you dont hear them anymore.

Haha. I guess we do have noise problems lol. I hear every little noise. If its not suppose to happen then I need to fix it right away. I guess I'm alittle weird in that department lol but i like things working right and fixed:)

By the way, I do want a system. Some speakers and radio. The stock system sucks ass lol. I thought I could deal with it but its so damm low. I put my iphone on it and I have to have the volume all the way just to hear it. I wish toyota would fix it.

I'll have to try this approach... being nice to it has led to too many things breaking or making noises

I gave up on being nice . Now it's beat it and turn the radio up .
It's funny how shitty the rear suspension is in these trucks . Guess its time to upgrade again . :D

Only a few guys seemed to be interested in a Mod/Detail day. Is that because it is a few weeks off or just no interest.

No, if you do a 4 link for the rear, you'd want IFS long travel for the front. :D

4 link and SAS would be so sick. I was thinking about trading my truck to the dude in Jersey that was selling his SAS 07.
