Who Else is Running a Radar Scanner ??

So how long did you have to work to make 300 bucks?

 

i can get that in about 3 weeks i only work 2 hours a day, and thats on a long day

Check out the hardwired radar detector mod. The OP had a good write up and I expanded on it a little further with pics. It really cleans up the wiring so its not always dangling down.

Eh, $300 / (2 hr/d * 7 d/w * 3w) = $7.14 /hr.
Min wage in Utah is $7.25.

To be so young that minimum wage makes you feel rich....

I noticed that nobody mentioned the fact that if you reduce your speed, not only will you not get a speeding ticket, but you save yourself the $$$ for the RD and the $$$ on gas. Your MPG goes up if you keep it between 60-65. I went from about 14 MPG to 17 MPG. Cruise control slow lane for me.

i dont get paid by the hour, i get paid by what i do, for example i move 4 sprinkler lines a day. daily making 15 bucks a day, it takes me 1 hour. in 3 weeks i make 315.

i have one up on the left side by the "oh shit" handle...in all honesty...cops have radar guns that shoot a quick "radar" blocker when they check speeds and then your radar picks it up...by then they already have youre speed

that being said, +1 for the Valentine 1 .. just remember it's a radar detector and not a police detector .. like any piece of equipment you buy proper usage is key.

 

I use the speed limit. Works every time.

 

Illegal in Virginia, wouldn't use one anyhow. LEO's I know have shown me their laser detectors, they nail you before you know it.

At my age I'm content to just cruise along with traffic, beats walking.
