would something like work for the BORA spacers? I can't remember if there was room for a ET nut like this. I am referring to the last item, the ET lug nuts.

Can anyone look at a uninstalled spacer and confirm if a ET lug nut would fit in the hole? Much appreciated.

That looks like it would work. It states it for the short factory studs. Interested if anyone has these to test

damn, I called the vendor and they couldn't tell me if the ET lug nuts would work or not. They didn't know if there was room around the stud for a ET nut to fit down in there. If someone has a set sitting around of these and could stack two on top of each other and look down through the hole and see if there is room around the stud I would appreciate it.

it should fit, no reason it wouldnt. try putting the wheel spacers on the wheel with the lugs sticking through. rotate the spacers. if there is room for the spacers to move around with the lugs sticking thru them, then there is room for the extended shanks on the ET lug nuts.

Exactly, only problem is that mine are installed and I am at work and can't pull my wheel apart right now and check. :) I would love to go pick up a set but only if they are going to work.

Stacking two spacers with the lugs fed through the holes will answer this as well. If you can rotate it a bit then a ET lug nut should work.

    Hey Mike,

An ET lugnut will sit in the spacers.. There is room for the shank of the ET lugnut to go inside the lug hole of the spacer. I know that the Factory Tacoma Studs are really short to begin with so you dont get many turns on the lugnuts but you will be fine without the ET lugnuts. If you feel better about running the ET lugnuts you can, but you will have to get the Open End ET lugnuts and depending on how tall the lugnut is they will not sit flush inside the spacers... Especially the .750" and 1.00" spacers. I dont think they will sit inside the spacers. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

I was hoping that was the reason, because I ordered 3/4 spacers so factory studs should work.

so more than one of the lugs are seriously not the same length as the other, and one of the lug nuts seize on one of the lugs. I emailed the vendor for a replacement spacer.

well i got my 1.5" spacers yesterday, and started installing them today. i see exactly what you guys are talking about with the lug nuts not going on very deep on the lug. i am getting the extended lug nuts for piece of mind. it didn't sit well in my head those nuts not covering much of the threads. for a few bucks i will feel better and more confident .it probably wouldnt matter so much with the thinner spacers.
    are you with me??????LOL...

Installed my front 1.25 spacers yesterday. Fit awesome, complete thread engagement on all studs, and the 55-65 mph shake I had with my old 1.5 lug centric spacers went away with them.
