So I've attempted to search, maybe I'm bad at it but I can't find the answer.

Simple question: I've got a 2011 DCSB 4x4 Sport, and I'm considering switching the 17" alloys for 16" FJ SE wheels. Going to run 265/75/16s along with them.

I've heard going from 17s to 16s sometimes can cause problems with the wheels clearing the brake calipers. Can anyone shed some light on this? Possibly someone with a TRD Sport that's got FJ SE wheels? Any fitment issues?

P.S. From what I've gathered I'll be able to transfer my tpms to the new wheels for a small fee, correct?

I picked up the 16" FJ wheels and replaced by stock sport wheels. They fit with 265/75/16 w/o a problem.

Lots of guys on here run the same set up without any problem.

I had them on my 06.. no rubbing or anything with ome 885 lift, although I did trim some of the inner plastic lining and removed the front mudflaps.

The FJ 16s will work better than your sport 17s in terms of proper back spacing, you will have zero issues with that wheel & tire combo. Look through my build page.

I had to just a lil bit. Turn your wheels to full locks and see where it hits and trim accordingly.
