When do you get back in town? There has been a guy in west melbourne selling a stock (bare) rear bumper but i dont have time to make it down there to grab it. He's asking $25 for it, gonna text him today to see if he still has it. Might see if he will meet in the middle somewhere.

I won't be back till the second week of august. why do you need a rear bumper?

 

Thats what i thought, i figure for $25 bucks its cheaper and easier than trying to get the dent out of mine, then i can have my neighbor paint it for me. But i have been thinking of getting the RBG on and seeing how noticable the dent is at that point.

 

Why cant I find a bumber for $25. The small dent I put in it I could live with. The big dent some asshat put in it while it was parked is an eyesore. Bastard didn't even leave a FU note.

 

Well, the one in melbourne might still be available if the guy will ship it to you. I will text him today to see if he still has it either way. I might try to talk the wife into making a trip to the brevard zoo, which i think would put me close to his area.

 

brevard zoo is great, along with tree top trek, which Ryan has also done now. about a 25 minute drive from melbourne, right along i-95.

Jim asked me to do this as a favor, sorry to hear about your loss Jim, that stuff is never easy.

 

Under a lot of stress right now. Friday before going into work I get a text message from a co-worker letting me know the store is letting go of all the temp employees, which is easily 25+ people (including myself). I go in to work Friday and find out every temp in the store has been let go with the exception of myself and one other. The last three days I've been going into work not knowing whether or not I'm going to be let go or not. Apparently corporate is forcing management to let people go, sales are down I guess due to weather and other crap. Nobodys fault.

I had applied for a regular store employee job last week and had two interviews already, I was told I'd find out at the end of the week last week, and then on Friday I was told the beginning of this week. I'm thinking today will be the day as I know the HR person is there.

So every day for the last three days I've worked I've been going in not knowing whether or not I'll be fired, have a new job, or whether everything's going to stay the same.

 

Well, good luck no matter what, things always work out in the end.

Jason and Fink are both right. They kept you on after letting other go, so there is hope. If it doesn't work out then there is something better for you.

 

Changing the rear shocks on a sport trac is a fucking bitch.

I wish. I have the larger rear diff though. Dave's a great guy though. One of the first tw members I ever met. I'm sad to see him part out.

 

Anyone know someone who can weld aluminum?

I have a hairline crack on my transfer case cover where the fill plug is. Has a small leak. I presume it was from my dumbass 17 year old self over tightening the fill plug at the time.
