Ahem, how about these? Set up by the east side and took place IN the west side. So where are your runs set up by west siders in the east valley?

The first one there, the West Siders had a camping trip planned before that.

The second one I can't comment on.

The third one was located in Chandler, If I read a map correctly that's in the eastern portion of this here valley.

The 3rd one is as far west as chandler gets and right off the freeway. It cant get much easier to access.

And what about the runs you set up in the east valley?

Don't know, never set up something for the east valley. "I don't want to drive through Phoenix to get to wheeling on the other side of town, when I can go wheeling on my side of town" as someone from the east once stated (rough quote), LOL.

Honestly, I could care less where I take my truck. As long as I have a good time doing it, nothing gets broken and everyone gets home safely then it was a good trip. This site, and valley, is full of it's little "cliques" and nothing is really going to change that.

I might hit this meet up and I might not, depends on how I feel the day of the event.

I think you guys take it a little too personal. I never even noticed which side of the valley members where from until the last time you guys divided us. We arent the ones that complain about the "cliques", in fact I am pretty sure most of the people on the east side were unaware of the "cliques". The quote is pretty close but also taken out of context. It has more to do with the price of gas, not because we dont like west siders. I have lived in Arizona my entire life and have never thought of anyone in Arizona as east or west side. The only time I have ever seen it is stupid gang graffiti or rap songs. To me everyone in AZ is from AZ period. You guys need to stop dividing yourselves if you wish to be undivided

Nothing personal at all. But there are "cliques", which are: In the social sciences, the word "clique" is used to describe a group of 2 to 12 “persons who interact with each other more regularly and intensely than others in the same setting.” And they exist in the whole valley. I could care less about most people. I hate everyone equally. :D

That would be true, except you are trying to extend that definition to include an east and west side boundry (and your definition actually says "in the same setting"). Someone from the west side even has a street in mind where the division occurs lol, to me thats gang shit and I have never been a part of it

im just bsing. yes there have been many of opportunity to drop what we are doing and run to the east side with little notice as events dont seem to be planned out (with a few exceptions such as sdhq's and local motors, as well as the meet and greets by chris 4x4).

But the same goes for west side, we plan stuff, weeks in advance. i too am down to drive anywhere. just last night i went and hung out with a girl in north east phoenix, and shes like "lets go 4wheelin!" so we went to lake pleasant. was there something cooler and closer? probably, but no lakes that im aware of lol

im just saying and never intended to bring a gang thug life aspect in, that it seems few members from either side of the valley attend other sides events. I mean that camping trip we had, 3 months of notice, 4 west siders and a guy from toucson showed up!

You want meets on "your" side of town plan them and make them worth going to. End of story. Chris planned this out months ago there is plenty of time to make a meet. Same with my local motors meet. I planned out in advance so people could make. I thin most of az guy are willing to drive where ever if they know about it before hand. I'm sick of this west vs east side bs. I'm planning an event for August and it will be centralized most likely. The reason it seems like they are on the east side is because the few people that plan most of the main meets live over here and plan them in advance. If you put the work into your event people will show. If you don't then people aren't going to make the trip. Rant over.

I agree. If we get notice and it's planned out then that right there almost makes it worth going to. I don't need to be doing something awesome to attend. The whole point is to meet new TW members or to kick it with some you already know. Doesn't matter where it is, who organized it or who is attending! We are Tacoma owners, TW member and we effin rule.

I'd say 4-6 weeks seems the butter zone for most people on the site.

It means if you are just making an event where people just meet in a parking lot to bs and look at trucks people may not to go. You plan one like the local motors meet where there is something to get their attention people will show. I was shocked with the amount of people that showed. With this meet Chris is doing its a place that is supposed to be really good and its new. Also since Chris is popular here a lot of new guy and old members go just to see or meet him. In his case he is one of things that draws people.
