This truck died in a tragic water accident. She was quickly replaced by another. You can almost cut the jealousy with a knife. RIP

Thanks! Always looking for tips and hints! Already got a couple guys saying the ARB bumper should be supported by some aftermarket suspension, something I was a little afraid of at first but kind of look forward to now.

Here is a pic of the engine bay and the K&N intake. SOOO much more room without that huge stock intake manifold. I also removed the plastic shield. Just something else to get dirty.

I used to wonder what the three bolts were for on top of the passenger fender inside the enginebay. I wasn't until I installed the intake that it named it since it used one of the bolts. It is for the ABS pump. Which is funny because I definitely have ABS but somehow don't need a pump??? If someone can explain this to me, please do. Here is a a pic of it if you don't know what I am talking about.

lol, on the 09 off rds, the ABS is on the drivers side near the brake booster. Those studs are there still...I used them to install my winch silinoid..

Speaking of winch, can you tell me a little about yours? I haven't done a lot of shopping around yet but I hear they are expensive. Also that there are a couple different types of winch.

I honestly dont know much myself:embarrassed: i just got mine because it was only $100 when i bought my arb:rolleyes: you want at least an 8k winch though. That much I do know. A lot of people hate on the smittybuilt xrc winches because the silinoid tends to stop working do to corrosion. The people who have siliconed them have had good luck though. Do some searches on here and you will see what i am talking about.

Out with the old, in with the new!

Super easy install! Just had to buy a bigger jack and jack stands. ToyTec had really good install instructions. Love my new suspension!!!
