Since you have an auto, I'd go with 5.29s.
I have a manual 2.7L on 35"s and stock 4.30 gears right now. I'm gonna get 5.29s in a couple weeks. 4.88s might be doable, but I think the auto is going to have a harder time finding the gears than if you were running 5.29s.

I think 5.29s bring it back to as close to stock as you're gonna get. IIRC, Scuba was getting about 22mpg with his 2.7L with 35"s and 5.29s.

    another vote for 5.29s.

You might could get away with 4:88s if you had some pizza cutter tires but those things look heavy.

    4.88s,
Thanks guys for all the advice. Id be very pleased if i got at least 20 mpg and if the 5.29s are the best option, looks like i cant go wrong since i have stock gears now.

Odd that the sticker isn't there. I'd call a Toyota dealer and give your VIN

I echo the others and recommend 5.29s as well. ESPECIALLY with your 4-banger/Auto tranny!!!

    I love my 5.29s. :D (Running 35s on a V6/Auto tranny)
