Now I'm trying to decide what to do about the gears. I think I'm gonna go ahead and get a high pinion front, but I need to make up my mind before the front shaft gets modified. I think I'm gonna do high pinion front with ARB, Spartan in the rear with possibly a V6 3rd, and get a dual with 4.7's this winter. I would love to have those gear options. Damn this shit is adding up quick.

If you're going to street it, get your diffs geared to a tiny overgear from stock ratios (appropriate for whatever your tire size is) and let the dual cases do the really heavy lifting offroad. Make sure you can neutral 'em for the highway.

    Yeah, it'll do that.

^thanks dude. It rides sooooooo much better on the street and steers a lot easier. I can't wait to test it out on the trail. Just need to get a double cardan on the rear shaft to get rid of the vibes and I should be at URE sometime during the week of the 4th.

Well I'm gonna get the gears setup with lockers and get some 35" MTR's. Then I'm gonna save up for new birf's and hopefully duals and armor over the winter. I'll be fixing a few things here and there as well. PM sent.

I put 400 lbs. of sand in the back to help the rear springs break in. I'll drive it like this for a few weeks and see what happens. I also finally got around to painting the tubing but my photos won't upload for some reason. I used Rustoleum flat black. I'll post up later.

wasnt sure if they mounted them inside the leaf springs at 30 degree angle, that may help your rear flex when you get springs broke in

Yea I forgot to get your pic. They are mounted inside the springs and framerails at about 30 degrees. I'll drive it when we meet up tomorrow so you can check it out.

So I picked up the new front shaft today but they failed to tell me that the T-case flange holes will not line up with the shaft. No big deal, they are going to take care of that for me next week.

Then I met up with Jerret and bought the 5.29 Motive Gears from him

I'm one of those people that just can't make up their mind and after some debate I have decided to save a little dough and get Spartan lockers front and rear. I will pick up some 35x12.50" Goodyear MTR's in a few weeks and hopefully have the gears set up by the end of July.

I found a dirt pile to play around on. I have been driving around with the 400 lbs. of sand bags in the back since Monday and the springs are starting to soften up. I will leave them in for a couple more weeks and see how it sits.

    Pretty good rear flex:

I took my sister and brother-in-law to URE on Thursday morning. We had a good time on Dickey Bell testing out the new suspension and steering.
