It is my Friday.But this is my weekend to work Friday - Sunday. I do have some extra time I have to burn by the end of the year, it's hard working 3 days in a row twice a month.

 

What's the easiest way to remove stock UCAs? Trying right now!

 

The easiest way is probably the only way. Pop the ball joint out of the spindle and make sure you use something to secure spindle I used a tie down of or you can use some heavy zip ties, you just don't want it to hang on the wire. Then your going to have to remove the bolt. There is a sticky for installing TC UCAs that you could look at too that has some good pics. Your going to have to bend the inner fender out a little to get the bolt out and you can reverse them when you reinstall. On the driverside when you reinstall the bolt there are some brake lines on the fire wall you going loosen push them out of the was but take it easy you don't want to damage the lines. When you bolt up the new ball joint to the spindle place a jack under the lower control and jack it up until the tread are all the way through then tighten the nut so you don't damage the threads or the ball joint.
