Pre 85 toyota truck. One in great mechanical condition, body condition doesn't really matter. Going to be denting it up anyway.

Not a truck, I know, but it's SFA.

    Build thread for truck:

I really wish I had $5500 laying around in my sock drawer. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I know the guy selling too, and he takes good care of his stuff.

Ok I just seen something I have never seen before and well I kinda find it a little fascinating. I just got off work and was walking to the door when I seen something buzz by me towards some flowers. So I snapped a few pics. It may be something well known that I just have never seen who knows? But I did some research on it since I had never seen anything like it before and found out what it was surprisingly lol!

This is the best one I could get with my phone. So +1 to whoever that finds out what it is.

Again I know its lame but I just discovered something that I did not even know existed, so I thought Id share.

If I don't find something for a better price, I'll probably end up with something like that. It would take a while to save that much up.

It's a fairly common Hummingbird Moth (North America, Europe, etc). They're only perceived as "rare" because most confuse them for a hummingbird instead due to the similar hovering behavior and humming noise.

I saw my first in Europe (several close up in my neighbors garden), told a friend at work, and only then learned we had them in North America as well (never noticed before - always saw them at a distance and always thought they were hummingbirds). The strangest thing for me is how their feeding tube rolls up instead of staying outstretched. It's a strange world.

Hey, Bill. Did you ever figure out why the bottom 15-20% of your avatar is missing in these message threads? The only way to see the full video (her waist down) is to view your profile.

LOL. That should certainly get your profile at least a few visits.

^ I dont know.. there is one the 28th of this month but I don't know where Stoney is. We can go to Choccolocco Mountain mid-August, you can ride all the trails in a day. So we can meet up on a Saturday and barbeque and ride.

edit: I like your jeep by the way.. I really want a cherokee for wheeling considering I got rid of my 4x4 Tacoma for a 4x2 Tacoma because of gas mileage. So were kind of in the same boat except I didnt wreck mine. lol

Stoney is right by Cullman. About an hour south of Huntsville.

Thanks for the compliment. Its turned out to be a fun vehicle, and there's always something to work on. It's nice driving a vehicle that you don't care if you break it, yet its still a competent daily driver if it isn't broken. My only complaints so far are that its a unibody, and its got a fairly large amount of body behind the rear wheel (nothing like a taco though). Aftermarket for it is crazy too. Only second to the wrangler series of jeeps.

Our signatures are limited in size. i.e. the actual "height" of the signature. This means that when I put my build thread in, it moved the sig video down a few pixels, and cut off more of the bottom. If I added text BELOW the video, it never shows up on the posts. I guess if i went to the actual gif itself i could resize it to fit, but then it would be slightly smaller

I'm in Jacksonville between Anniston and Gadsden. I will probably be at the July 28th meet so count me and Sidewinder10 in. I'll introduce him to this thread in a bit, he's new to TW.

Yeah the Cherokee's are definitely awesome daily driver/weekend warrior vehicles. I'm trying to convince my parents to let me get one but my dad had transmission problems out of one and now he hates em. My best friend (Sidewinder10) used to have one and it done awesome offroad even with crappy street tires. His little brother who is also one of my best friends has a Wrangler but we've yet to test it. They will tag along if we all meet up at Choccolocco Mountain.
