Speaking of craigslist, I just scored a 10'x10' kitchen worth of solid oak cabinets (uppers and lowers... ditching the under sink ones) for $25.

Going into the garage for organization

20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
    Madjik-

What did you use to paint your console and shifter boots? I couldnt find it in your build thred. I want to go all black to cover up some scuff marks.

I used Duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye for everything you listed above.

The dye is awesome for the armrest portion of the console and the shifter boots. But doesn't seem to penetrate or adhere well to the plastic portions of the console... mine has two tiny scratches in it already on the side of the upper storage bin.

If I had to do over again I'd use a plastic specific primer and paint for the plastic parts, let them cure for about a week, then install it.

Thanks for the info! Maybe ill try the krylon paint for plastic on the plastic parts and then the vinyl dye for the rest.

If it's any consolation I used the Duplicolor vinyl dye (flat black) on my valence and Rustoleum flat black ultra painter's touch (primer and flat black) on my bumper inserts and they're a perfect match. I would assume that the gloss black of each would match too but have nothing to verify this.

I have used the Rustoleum ultra touch on my plastic dash pieces, as it's a plastic paint, and it has worked out really well. Let it cure for a few days and it holds up well.

Here's a picture of the valence and inserts. I think they match really well:

Did you scuff those pieces up any before painting? What about primer?

I just wiped it down with a Duplicolor prep wipe. They're a $1.50 for a large wipe and they are typically hanging right next to the paints. Let it dry and go for it, that's it.

For the vinyl pieces, no scuffing or primer.

For the plastic pieces primer, but no scuffing.

The vinyl dye is awesome for the valence.

It's permanent and much more durable than paint IMO

Alaska Rubber has it. Just ask them to check out their scrap bin. I picked up a bunch of 1/8" remnants for free. They tried to get me to take a huge box of it but I only needed enough for the tabs :)

Ah... so it's not a Rosie O'Donnell blow up doll coming in the mail!

    Nice find, dude.

Just let me know if you need that material.

Hell yeah, this place has boat loads of things to do.

Check out who will be playing at Red Rocks when you're here. If you go see music you like there, it'll change your life.

Also there's great bars/music scene in Boulder, tons of outdoor activities... it just depends on what you're looking to get yourself into.
